Angara is seeking an experienced and data-driven Digital Merchandiser to drive the optimization of our online shopping experience and maximize conversion rates. This role is essential in enhancing the presentation of our fine jewelry collection across the website, ensuring that every customer journey is seamless, engaging, and leads to successful transactions. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of ecommerce, merchandising, and customer behavior, coupled with a passion for luxury products and storytelling.


The Digital Merchandiser will work closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, creative, marketing, product, UI/UX and engineering to execute strategies that align with our go-to-market plans and support growth in our direct-to-consumer channels.


Customer Experience & Site Merchandising

  • Partner with creative, merchandising, and product/engineering teams to optimize the

    online customer experience

    , focusing on conversion, storytelling, and intuitive navigation.
  • Manage the

    site taxonomy

    , ensuring products are categorized correctly and strategically to enhance product discovery and maximize engagement.
  • Create, own, and

    manage a comprehensive site calendar

    that details all site activities, activations, and product launches, ensuring alignment across teams and timely execution of all ecommerce efforts.
  • Oversee and ensure the quality of product listings (PDP and PLP) by

    reviewing assets (images, descriptions, and copy)

    and making necessary corrections with help from merchandising team.
  • Analyze site performance and propose changes to improve

    product presentation, search optimization, and product sorting.


Data-Driven Optimization & Reporting

  • Use analytics tools to measure site performance, customer interactions, and merchandising effectiveness. Provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Drive

    A/B testing

    and data analysis to continuously improve product recommendations, upselling, cross-selling, and overall site performance.
  • Own site

    WBR

    highlighting key performance indicators, opportunities for growth, and actionable insights to enhance the customer journey.

  • Aesthetic Sensibility: You possess a deep appreciation for visual appeal and design, understanding the importance of luxury presentation in elevating the brand. You ensure that the site’s aesthetics and product displays reflect the premium nature of Angara’s fine jewelry, creating an aspirational shopping experience.
  • Collaborative: You thrive in cross-functional environments, working with multiple teams to execute cohesive and compelling ecommerce strategies.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for ensuring product pages, categorization, and merchandising assets are accurate and optimized.
  • Performance-Driven: You’re experienced in using A/B testing and data analytics to drive measurable improvements in site performance.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital merchandising, eCommerce, or a related field, preferably within luxury goods and/or direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics, site optimization techniques, and eCommerce best practices.
