Buyer - Roles & Responsibilities New Product Development (NPD) & Strategic Sourcing Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, and Operations to facilitate seamless product development cycles. Conduct comprehensive value chain analyses, assessing factors such as pricing, seasonality, availability, specifications, geographical considerations, packaging, challenges, and opportunities for value addition. Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors aligned with product specifications and quality standards. Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and adherence to company policies. Manage end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency. Procurement of Specialized Chemicals Oversee procurement and supply chain operations for raw materials catering to both domestic and international markets. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and supply. Implement inventory management strategies to minimize slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB). Indirect Procurement (Admin Services & Expense) Support procurement activities related to administrative services, including facilities management, office supplies, and other indirect spend categories. Ensure compliance with company policies and optimize costs through strategic sourcing initiatives Digital Initiatives & IT Procurement Lead procurement efforts for IT products, applications, software, and services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Oversee the end-to-end management of IT tools for supply chain management, including requirement identification, vendor selection, product development, user acceptance testing (UAT), minimum viable product (MVP) deployment, implementation, and continuous enhancements. Look for digital, dashboards related to ongoing procurement practices Engage with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, IT, Supply Chain, and Procurement to ensure successful project execution Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) & Sustainability Implement and monitor projects aimed at enhancing supply chain sustainability and achieving ESG goals. Ensure Supplier assessment (Desktop, 2nd and 3rd Party), Monitor sourcing policies, setting up SOP and KRA of Categories, ensuring supplier trainings on ESG and sustainability Oversee the creation of ESG reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards Stakeholder engagement – within department, across department & across geographies (Nepal, Gulf etc.) Key Competencies Strategic sourcing and negotiation skills Comprehensive understanding of supply chain management principles Proficiency in IT procurement processes and digital transformation initiatives Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration Preferred Qualifications PGDM, MBA with minimum experience of 5-7 years in relevant field Experience with ERP systems and procurement software: SAP and other related or equivalent system Female candidates preferred Equal Opportunity Employer As a multi-category organization which caters to a wide range of customers across geographies; we believe a diverse workforce is an essential asset to cater to the business environment we operate in.
