Job Description

Business Support professional with a strong pharmaceutical sales background

Key Responsibilities:

1. Executive & Project Support

  • Work closely with the CEO to plan, execute, and monitor ongoing projects, particularly in the API and pharmaceutical business segments.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and strategic updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate CEO’s meetings, travel schedules, and logistics to optimize time management.

2. Business Operations & API Management

  • Oversee day-to-day activities of the ongoing API business under the CEO’s direction.
  • Liaise with internal teams ( Procurement, Supply Chain) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor pricing, margins, and supply chain timelines for key products and deals.
  • Assist with vendor and partner evaluations and support negotiations when required.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients and partners on behalf of the CEO.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring timely responses to their needs.
  • Support the onboarding of new clients and manage communication throughout the business cycle.

4. Strategic & Administrative Support

  • Conduct market research and provide insights on potential opportunities or risks.
  • Draft and review contracts, proposals, and business communications.
  • Maintain organized and confidential records, ensuring accurate documentation of deals, contracts, and projects.
  • Handle follow-ups and ensure timely closure of tasks assigned by the CEO.

5. Travel & Event Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate the CEO’s travel for business trips, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Organize events, conferences, and internal meetings to support business development and client engagement efforts.

6. Additional Contributions

  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for efficiency.
  • Support due diligence, partner evaluations, and new market entry initiatives.
  • Act as the CEO’s “right hand,” anticipating needs and ensuring priorities are met.


Key Requirements :

  • Must have a pharmaceutical sales background with demonstrated success in building client relationships and achieving sales targets.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to represent the CEO professionally.
  • Financial and commercial acumen; comfortable working with data, pricing, and contracts.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and virtual collaboration platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales plus executive support, project coordination, or business operations.
  • Experience working directly with senior leadership and external partners at a high level.
  • Willingness to travel frequently with or on behalf of the CEO.
