Key Responsibilities: β Responsible for new business development and managing existing customer accounts. β Develop an overall portfolio strategy aligned with market trends and the company's vision. β Lead the expansion into new markets, ensuring timely product filings and adherence to agreed timelines β Ensure to produce breakthrough results and achieve agreed Objectives in a timely manner within budgets. β Add more products to the existing portfolio. β Commercial negotiation of contracts, agreements with clients to increase profitability and ensure all legal and financial requirements are met. β Travel to various markets for business development, brand promotion, new product launch activities etc. β Develop Sourcing strategy, internal processes & streamline process while ensuring continuous improvement & cost saving initiatives. β Consistently monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales and business development activities and adjust strategies as necessary. β Drive the growth, development, performance & expansion of business into new markets. β Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, regulatory operations etc to ensure seamless execution of sales and business development initiatives. β Assess partner capabilities and align on the business model to form partnerships with Company. β Review & execute commercial agreements, Confidentiality Agreements (CDA) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), vetting potential partner companies for product licensing in Hong Kong. β Maintain comprehensive databases related to products, tenders, drug registrations, partners, deals, contacts, and agreements. β Provide support to commercial, regulatory, and tender teams. β Continuously assess opportunities within the partner portfolio for further collaboration once partnership agreements are established. β Develop innovative solutions for ad hoc issues related to products, personnel, and partnerships, ensuring timely resolution. β Actively engage with current and potential partners to explore opportunities. β Screen opportunities to acquire product dossiers annually. β Evolve the framework for identifying and assessing new products. β Recruit and lead a team of Business Development Associates. β Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and facilitate professional development. β Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture. Key Deliverables : β Identify and develop new suppliers and source the required products β Ensure New product filings within agreed timelines. β Screen opportunities to acquire product dossiers β Develop & Manage databases, perform market analytics and drive cost savings and supply base efficiencies. β Conduct in-depth analysis of new market opportunities and develop strategies for expansion. β Provide support to commercial, regulatory, and tender teams to fulfill obligations. β Analyze supplier proposals, financial reports & other data to determine the efficiency of price & supplier capabilities. β Develop a business case with clear recommendations for review with the CEO β Maintain agreements and checklists database β Negotiate & Review Supplier Agreements. β Conduct local & regional supplier performance review meetings , when requested. β Company image building with new & existing suppliers. β Timely report submission for every quarter Based on targets β Source and Co-ordinate with Potential Vendors for Product Licensing, Distribution Show more Show less
