Key Responsibilities: ● Responsible for new business development and managing existing customer accounts. ● Develop an overall portfolio strategy aligned with market trends and the company's vision. ● Lead the expansion into new markets, ensuring timely product filings and adherence to agreed timelines ● Ensure to produce breakthrough results and achieve agreed Objectives in a timely manner within budgets. ● Add more products to the existing portfolio. ● Commercial negotiation of contracts, agreements with clients to increase profitability and ensure all legal and financial requirements are met. ● Travel to various markets for business development, brand promotion, new product launch activities etc. ● Develop Sourcing strategy, internal processes & streamline process while ensuring continuous improvement & cost saving initiatives. ● Consistently monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales and business development activities and adjust strategies as necessary. ● Drive the growth, development, performance & expansion of business into new markets. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, regulatory operations etc to ensure seamless execution of sales and business development initiatives. ● Assess partner capabilities and align on the business model to form partnerships with Company. ● Review & execute commercial agreements, Confidentiality Agreements (CDA) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), vetting potential partner companies for product licensing in Hong Kong. ● Maintain comprehensive databases related to products, tenders, drug registrations, partners, deals, contacts, and agreements. ● Provide support to commercial, regulatory, and tender teams. ● Continuously assess opportunities within the partner portfolio for further collaboration once partnership agreements are established. ● Develop innovative solutions for ad hoc issues related to products, personnel, and partnerships, ensuring timely resolution. ● Actively engage with current and potential partners to explore opportunities. ● Screen opportunities to acquire product dossiers annually. ● Evolve the framework for identifying and assessing new products. ● Recruit and lead a team of Business Development Associates. ● Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and facilitate professional development. ● Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.
