Job Description

Role: Business Relationship Lead - Analytics COE (3.00 PM IST to 12.00 PM IST) Location: Kharadi, Pune Life Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. The business relationship Lead has shared ownership, mainly focusing on Supply Chain with the Functional Delivery Lead for both business strategy and business value results. The BRL helps the Business Relationship Manager (BRM) manage partner relationships and serves as a single point of focus, working to converge functions such as Supply Chain, finance, Compliance, quality, etc., and one or more lines of business or value streams. This is achieved by stimulating, surfacing, and shaping demand for capabilities and assets, in addition to ensuring that the potential business value from those capabilities and assets is captured, optimized, and recognized. Additionally, the BRL helps shape business demand into supply by 1) partnering with appropriate resources to facilitate the creation of idea documents, cases, and value plans; 2) ensuring value optimization and communication; and 3) enabling continuous improvement in all areas and people around them. What will you be doing? Partner & Relationship Management - Using the business framework, ensure customers’ current and future needs are met, providing solutions for the desired business outcomes and setting/meeting realistic timelines. Ensure conflicting customer requirements are mediated appropriately, handling customers’ complaints and issues well through a sympathetic (yet formal) process. Develop mutual trust by meeting regularly with functional leadership to ensure needs are being met, provide updates on current work, and capture/log future demand. Analytics Solution Architecture & Development - Collaborate with functional teams to understand the requirements & convert them into technical wireframes. Closely working with the development team in solution building, testing, deployment, and customer feedback. Responsible for end-to-end project management from requirement gathering to timely solution delivery to effective customer communication. Continuous connection with customers on feedback/change required, decommissioning of low usage dashboards, & maintain the projects from governance standpoint Analytics Community Engagement and Governance - Actively engage, contribute, and be the go-to analytics community leader for your vertical. Stay active in the community to ensure that what individuals in the community are developing complements. What will you need to be successful? Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a relevant field. MBA (Supply Chain) or related qualification preferred! Should have a minimum of 5+ years of functional experience in a Supply Chain business function & Data Analytics. 2+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives Experience in Supply Chain critical metrics (Demand-Supply planning, Customer backorder, Inventory management, etc.) development & improvements. Scrum/Agile development methodologies and project management Experience with Power BI capability, functionality, and design Interacting and presenting to senior leadership. Thinking strategically and persuading and implementing said strategy. IT lifecycle principles. Should be comfortable for 3.00 PM to 12.00 AM IST midnight OR 2.00 PM to 11.00 PM IST (mandatory) Licenses/Certifications : Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferred Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred Competences: Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner vertically within the business unit, as well as with leadership and functional teams Strategic thinker: Ability to map joint organizational vision and long-term thinking, imagination, and idea generation. Energy, focus, assertiveness, and diplomacy. Highly developed communication skills. Highly skilled and experienced at negotiating conflict and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes at executive levels.
