Business Development Specialist

The Business Developer will identify and secure new clients, partners, and investment prospects while supporting portfolio startups and MNCs in scaling tech platforms. This role reports to the CEO and focuses on revenue growth through strategic outreach in the UAE and global markets.

• Prospect startups, MNCs, and investors via LinkedIn, events, and cold outreach to build incubation and investment pipelines.
• Develop growth hacking strategies, including market entry plans, partnerships, and tech platform pitches for e-commerce and SaaS clients.
• Conduct market research on tech trends, competitors, and funding opportunities; prepare proposals and track CRM metrics for deal closure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on client tech builds and represent Socommerz at industry events in UAE, USA, India, Singapore, KSA.
• For getting more clients who would need technical leadership to run their business.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred with 3-5 years in BD/sales for startups or tech services.
• Proven track record in B2B sales, partnerships, and growth hacking; experience in incubation, investments, or UAE tech ecosystem a plus.
• Strong LinkedIn networking skills, CRM proficiency (e.g., HubSpot), and analytical tools for lead generation.

• Knowledge of headless commerce, AI wrappers, SaaS, or retail tech; multilingual (English, Arabic) advantageous for UAE, USA, India, Singapore, KSA.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities in fast-paced startup environments.
