Job Overview:

Beyond Classrooms is seeking a results-oriented Business Development Associate to join our team in India. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about hands-on learning, sustainability, and educational travel, and who enjoys collaborating with educational institutions. The ideal individual will excel at building rapport with diverse stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure sales environment. If you're eager to innovate best practices to enhance client service and contribute to both the team and the broader business goals, we would love to hear from you.


Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in building, maintaining, and growing our client base overseas by researching potential leads and providing support in communication and follow-ups.
  2. Support in marketing, managing, executing, and growing our virtual programs portfolio under the guidance of senior team members.
  3. Contribute to ideation and brainstorming sessions to update our product portfolio and improve our programs and destinations.
  4. Assist in researching and developing new business development areas and opportunities.
  5. Learn and develop skills to effectively cold email and call potential leads.
  6. Support networking, branding, and PR initiatives for the company.
  7. Collaborate with the team to assist in overall strategy and management of the team.
  8. Assist in ensuring client satisfaction by coordinating with colleagues to provide excellent logistical operations and educational value that meets or exceeds expectations.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Currently resident in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, or Hyderabad.
  • Experience in industries such as: International education, travel, filmography, professional services, consulting, management, customer service
  • A proven track record in business development or sales (any industry)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • A can-do attitude
  • Enthusiastic & passionate about culture, sustainability and education
  • Emotional intelligence & creativity
  • Perseverance & a quick learner
  • Great at general office skills (Microsoft suite, zoom, teams, powerpoint)


Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary range:

    INR 50,000 – 100,000/month

    dependent on previous experience, ability, passion, and strength of references.
