Job Title: Business Development Officer (BDO)

Location: Belapur – Navi Mumbai

Department: Sales & Business Development

Experience: Minimum 3 Years

Qualification: MBA in Marketing / Sales / International Business or any Graduate with strong business acumen

Job Summary:

The Business Development Officer will play a key role in expanding the company’s client base and driving growth for water and wastewater treatment solutions. The role involves identifying potential customers, building strong client relationships, promoting products and services, and coordinating with internal teams to convert business opportunities into successful orders.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify, approach, and develop new business opportunities across industrial and infrastructure sectors.

· Promote company offerings such as RO Plants, Softeners, DM Plants, Filters, and other water treatment solutions.

· Conduct market research to identify potential clients, projects, and competitors.

· Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, and online research.

· Schedule and attend client meetings, understand requirements, and present solutions.

· Coordinate with technical and proposal teams for preparation of quotations and techno-commercial offers.

· Manage proposal submissions, negotiations, and order finalizations.

· Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for repeat business and referrals.

· Support marketing activities such as participation in exhibitions, seminars, and promotional events.

· Prepare and maintain daily/weekly sales reports, client databases, and lead trackers.

· Ensure timely follow-up for payments and project coordination post-order confirmation.

Technical & Software Skills:

· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

· Familiarity with CRM / ERP tools (Zoho CRM, Salesforce, SAP, etc.).

· Basic understanding of industrial sales and tendering processes.

· Strong analytical and documentation skills.

· Ability to prepare presentations, cost summaries, and client proposals.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.

· Confident, dynamic, and result-oriented personality.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

· Willingness to travel within and outside Mumbai for business development.
