Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and results-driven Business Development & Marketing Executive to promote “MakeanEvent”, a next-gen event management application by Intecai Digital Limited. The ideal candidate will drive user acquisition, build brand awareness, and establish strong partnerships with event organizers, vendors, and institutions.

This role blends strategic marketing with hands-on business development to ensure market penetration and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development

a) Identify, connect, and onboard event organizers, venues, vendors, and service providers onto the MakeanEvent platform.

b) Build strong relationships with corporates, colleges, wedding planners, NGOs, and community organizers for event collaborations.

c) Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent lead generation and follow-ups.

d) Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and client meetings to promote the app.

e) Negotiate and close deals with potential partners ensuring mutual benefits.

f) Collect user feedback and market insights to assist the product team in refining the platform.

2. Marketing & Branding

a) Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and offline channels to create brand visibility.

b) Collaborate with the design team for creative content, videos, and social posts aligned with campaigns.

c) Execute on-ground marketing activities such as college fests, exhibitions, and networking events.

d) Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.

e) Work on influencer tie-ups, sponsorships, and partnership marketing to boost user engagement.

f) Support PR and brand awareness campaigns highlighting MakeanEvent’s value proposition.

3. Customer Engagement

a) Act as the primary point of contact for clients and users during onboarding and after sales support.

b) Gather testimonials, case studies, and success stories to strengthen the brand narrative.

c) Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through timely responses and proactive solutions.

4. Strategic Contributions

a) Suggest creative ideas for campaigns, collaborations, and user growth strategies.

b) Identify potential markets, competitor activities, and new opportunities.

c) Support management in creating monthly business reports and growth projections.

d) Participate in brainstorming sessions to align marketing efforts with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

a) Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or related fields.

b) Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

c) Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and event industry trends.

d) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. e) Goal-oriented, persuasive, and innovative mindset.

f) Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online marketing platforms is an added advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

a) Number of vendor and organizer onboardings.

b) Monthly app downloads and active user growth.

c) Lead generation and conversion ratios.

d) Brand visibility and engagement metrics.

e) Event collaborations and revenue growth.

Compensation:

Competitive salary + Incentives based on performance and onboarding achievements.

Growth Opportunity:

As MakeanEvent expands across regions, this role offers opportunities to move into Senior BD roles, Regional Marketing Head, or Partnership Management positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
