SaaS Sales, Business Development, and Outbound B2B Sales

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales:
- Drive new client acquisition through outbound prospecting, networking, and B2B sales activities.
- Identify new business opportunities by analyzing target markets, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Develop and execute a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- SaaS Sales Expertise:
- Articulate the value proposition of SaaS products to decision-makers, stakeholders, and C-suite executives.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept sessions tailored to client requirements.
- Stay updated with SaaS industry trends, competitor activities, and customer pain points to refine sales strategies.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with prospects and customers.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement and account management.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts.
- Strategic Sales Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define go-to-market strategies for SaaS offerings.
- Contribute to pricing strategies, deal structuring, and contract negotiations.
- Provide input to product and marketing teams based on client feedback to align offerings with market demand.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with marketing, pre-sales, and product teams to ensure seamless client engagement.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards for leadership review.
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the brand footprint.
Core Competencies & Skills
- Sales Expertise:
- Proven track record of 10+ years in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in SaaS/technology sales.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, recurring revenue, and subscription sales.
- Experience with outbound sales, consultative selling, and enterprise deal closures.
- Technical & Domain Knowledge:
- Ability to quickly grasp technical product features and translate them into business value.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), outbound sales platforms, and reporting systems.
- Business Acumen:
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to structure complex deals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and large enterprise accounts.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a target-driven, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
- Strong leadership qualities to mentor junior sales team members if required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of B2B sales/business development experience, with a focus on SaaS products.
- Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
