Job Description

Business Development Manager (BDM)


Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities through networking, cold outreach, LinkedIn, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects across multiple regions.
  • Drive both inbound and outbound lead generation campaigns.


Sales Cycle Management

  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client workflows, pain points, and objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored

    presentations, demos, and proposals

    .
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting → requirement gathering → proposal → negotiation → closure.
  • Draft and present commercial offers and RFP responses with clear ROI focus.


Client Engagement & Growth

  • Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets.
  • Develop long-term relationships to ensure repeat business, upsells, and renewals.
  • Travel for client meetings and industry events when required.


Internal Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with project and technical teams to ensure seamless handover post-sales.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Provide weekly reports on pipeline status, forecasts, and market insights to management.


Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1-4 years of proven experience in

    B2B SaaS, IT services, CRM/ERP, or enterprise solution sales

    .
  • Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas.


Skills

  • Strong

    consultative selling skills

    with the ability to engage at C-level (CEOs, Sales Heads, IT Managers).
  • Excellent

    communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities

    .
  • Capable of managing both

    short and long sales cycles (1–6 months)

    .
  • Highly self-driven; able to generate leads independently without heavy marketing support.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Bitrix24, or equivalent).


Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in

    consulting, or enterprise technology solutions

    .
  • Existing network in UAE/MENA or international business ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of CRM workflows, ERP systems, or business automation platforms.
