Job Description

About the Role:

Business Development Manager (BDM)


You will collaborate closely with delivery, recruitment, and account management teams to ensure consistent business growth and client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

1. New Business Acquisition:

  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new

    direct clients, system integrators, and MSP/VMS accounts

    across the US.
  • Develop and execute lead generation and outreach strategies through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and staffing platforms.
  • Negotiate terms of business, contracts, and service-level agreements.

2. Account Management:

  • Build strong client relationships by understanding hiring needs, culture, and timelines.
  • Work closely with recruiters to ensure timely delivery of qualified candidates.
  • Upsell and cross-sell staffing solutions, including contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent placements.

3. Revenue & Target Ownership:

  • Own quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
  • Ensure high margins and profitability through effective negotiation and deal structuring.

4. Market Intelligence & Collaboration:

  • Stay updated with market trends, rate fluctuations, and skill demand in the US IT landscape.
  • Partner with internal recruitment and marketing teams to optimize talent sourcing and branding efforts.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4–10 years

    of experience in

    Business Development or Account Management

    within the

    US IT Staffing industry

    .
  • Proven track record of generating new business and closing clients (direct clients or Tier-1 vendors).
  • Strong understanding of US work authorizations (H1B, GC, USC, TN, OPT, CPT, etc.).
  • Experience with VMS portals, MSP programs, and RFP/RFQ processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a target-driven environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a

    US time zone

    (EST/CST/PST).
  • Existing client relationships in the US staffing market.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
