The ideal candidate should bring deep expertise in Oracle GoldenGate and hands-on experience working with both Oracle and SQL Server environments.This role is crucial in ensuring zero-downtime migration, data consistency, and post-migration optimization. Key Responsibilities:Lead large-scale database migration projects using Oracle GoldenGate.Design and deploy replication setups for Oracle to Oracle, SQL Server to SQL Server, and cross-platform migrations.Perform end-to-end cutover planning, data validation, and reconciliation.Resolve complex issues in GoldenGate replication and optimize performance.Work closely with application, DBA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration.Develop and maintain migration documentation, runbooks, and audit reports.Leverage scripting skills (Shell, Python, PowerShell) to automate parts of the migration process.Perform post-migration validation, tuning, and reporting.Keep up to date with GoldenGate enhancements, patches, and best practices.Ensure all migrations align with data governance, compliance, and security policies.Support evaluation of other tools for migration and replication strategy.
