Business Development Manager

Role Objectives

• Manage the existing sales pipeline while actively developing new business opportunities.
• Lead the creation of proposals and presentations for new business materials to foster partnerships and growth.
• Identify market trends and customer needs to build short-, medium-, and long-term sales pipelines aligned with targets.
• Develop strategies and positioning through analysis of new venture integration.
• Assist in coordinating and implementing marketing strategies, delegating tasks to achieve strategic objectives.
• Motivate the team, track performance, and report key metrics.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Monitor industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
• Manage the proposal response process, including RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from multiple sources.
• Generate new leads, identify and engage decision-makers, screen business opportunities, select deals aligned with strategy, and manage pitch logistics.
• Develop and implement comprehensive outbound sales and business development strategies, processes, structure, and best practices across the company.
• Support deal structuring and pricing through business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
• Maintain and share professional knowledge via education, networking, events, and presentations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field.
• Proven track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with sales techniques and methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Strong ability to plan, organize, and manage resources effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
• Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
