Job Overview:

Business Dev Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1.Revenue Generation & Sales Growth:

  • Own and exceed ambitious sales targets through proactive prospecting and deal closures.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert high-value enterprise clients, driving significant revenue contributions.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to penetrate key sectors such as BFSI, Pharma, and Manufacturing.
  • Execute aggressive sales tactics to outpace competition and establish Breathe ESG as a market leader.

2.Lead Conversion & Pipeline Acceleration:

  • Convert leads into paying customers through persistent follow-ups, persuasive negotiation, and high-impact presentations.
  • Shorten sales cycles by identifying client pain points and offering tailored ESG solutions.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to optimize lead generation and pipeline acceleration strategies.

3.Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Build and manage a portfolio of high-value enterprise clients, ensuring high retention and expansion opportunities.
  • Influence decision-makers (CXOs, CSOs, Compliance Heads) to prioritize ESG compliance investments.
  • Negotiate and close large, complex deals with a consultative sales approach.

4.Market Domination Strategy:

  • Identify high-growth sectors and execute focused sales campaigns to dominate market share.
  • Develop partnerships with industry associations, consultants, and key influencers to boost credibility.
  • Leverage competitive intelligence to position Breathe ESG as the most effective and affordable solution.

5.Tenders & Enterprise Deals:

  • Proactively pursue government and corporate tenders, ensuring Breathe ESG's participation in large-scale projects.
  • Lead end-to-end bid processes, from identifying opportunities to contract negotiation and closure.

6.Reporting & Performance Tracking:

  • Maintain detailed sales reports, forecasts, and CRM records to ensure full pipeline visibility.
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance reports with a focus on revenue achievements and upcoming targets.
  • Adapt strategies based on data insights and market dynamics.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:

    Bachelor's/Master’s in Business, Sales, Sustainability, or related fields.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 5+ years of hardcore sales experience in B2B SaaS/ESG/compliance software.
  • Proven Track Record:

    Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets of ₹50 Lakhs to ₹2 Crore annually.
  • Negotiation Mastery:

    Strong deal-making skills, with experience in closing enterprise-level contracts.
  • High Energy & Hustle:

    A go-getter attitude with an insatiable drive to succeed and thrive under pressure.
  • CRM Expertise:

    Hands-on experience with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and data-driven sales strategies.
