Job Description: Senior Business Development Manager - Salesforce Implementation (9-15+ Years Experience)
Role OverviewThe Senior Business Development Manager will be a pivotal leader in driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and securing large-scale Salesforce implementation, consulting, and digital transformation projects. This role requires a seasoned hunter with a proven track record of selling complex Professional Services to Enterprise and Mid-Market clients, specifically leveraging the power of the Salesforce Customer 360 platform.The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, mastery of the Salesforce ecosystem, and the ability to engage with C-level executives to architect strategic solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesI. Business Growth and Sales ExecutionPipeline Generation: Proactively prospect, identify, and qualify new business opportunities with a focus on selling Salesforce implementation, customization, and managed services engagements.Strategic Opportunity Hunting: Drive the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure for large, multi-million dollar consulting projects, meeting and exceeding annual sales quotas (ACV/TCV).C-Level Engagement: Initiate and lead high-level, strategic discussions with C-suite and VP-level executives to understand their business challenges and align them with Salesforce-led digital transformation roadmaps.Solution Development: Work closely with the Pre-Sales and Delivery teams to craft tailored proposals, Statement of Work (SOWs), and commercial models for complex, multi-cloud Salesforce solutions (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Mulesoft, Tableau).II. Salesforce Ecosystem & PartnershipPartner Leverage: Act as the primary interface with the Salesforce Alliance Team (AEs, RDs, PBMs) in the assigned territory/industry, driving joint Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and capitalizing on Salesforce-sourced leads.Market Leadership: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Salesforce product roadmap, competitive landscape, and ecosystem partners to position the firm as a thought leader in the consulting space.Industry Expertise: Develop and articulate industry-specific value propositions, showcasing a deep understanding of domain challenges (e.g., BFSI, Manufacturing, Healthcare) and how Salesforce solutions address them.Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior Business Development Representatives (BDRs) or Sales Executives, fostering a culture of high performance and strategic sales.Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in the sales process, including effective use of the company’s internal CRM (preferably Salesforce itself) for accurate forecasting and pipeline management.

Total Experience: 9 to 15+ years in B2B IT Services sales, with a clear focus on selling System Integration (SI) or Consulting Services.

  • Domain Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of direct experience selling Salesforce consulting, implementation, or managed services for a Salesforce Partner/System Integrator (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, TCS, or a boutique firm).
  • Deal Size: Demonstrated ability to close deals in the $500K - $5M+ range (Service Contract Value).

Skills & Knowledge
Platform Acumen: Deep conceptual understanding of the Salesforce Customer 360 platform and its major clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, Mulesoft, Tableau).Sales Process: Proven mastery of complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles, solution selling, and value-based selling methodologies.Certifications (Preferred): Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant or Platform App Builder) are a strong advantage, demonstrating hands-on familiarity with the platform being sold.Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts clearly to C-level audiences.

Structure: Competitive base salary plus an aggressive, uncapped commission plan (On-Target Earnings - OTE) tied to performance metrics (e.g., New Logo Acquisition, Total Contract Value Booked, Partner-Sourced Revenue).
Target: Compensation is aligned with industry standards for a Senior BDM/Director-level role with 9-15+ years of experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹84,000.00 - ₹98,000.00 per month
