Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive new business acquisition within the healthcare segment, focusing on hospitals and clinics
• Conduct product presentations and demos for key decision-makers including doctors, hospital administrators, and IT heads
• Understand client requirements and recommend customized HIS software solutions
• Own the complete sales lifecycle – from prospecting and proposal development to negotiation and closure
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and project implementation
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive retention and upselling opportunities
• Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging opportunities in the healthcare IT space
• Share market intelligence and client feedback with internal teams for product and process improvement

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–7 years of B2B sales experience, specifically in healthcare IT or HIS software sales
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to engage with doctors, CXOs, and IT decision-makers in hospitals
• Solid understanding of hospital workflows and HIS functionalities
• Experience in creating proposals, delivering demos, and managing enterprise-level deals
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and goal-oriented

Preferred Background:

• Experience working with HIS software companies like Dataman, Akhil Systems, or similar vendors
• Track record of successfully closing deals in the hospital/healthcare sector
• Awareness of healthcare compliance and hospital IT requirements
