Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Kismatpur, Hyderabad

Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Founding Team

Role: Business Development Executive

Objective:

To drive strategic growth, client acquisition, and market expansion in the defence sector through targeted sales, marketing, and partnership initiatives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

A. Market Expansion & Strategic Growth

  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the defence sector, including both government and private organizations.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders such as defence procurement agencies, defence PSUs, and private defence contractors.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define market expansion strategies and identify priority segments.
  • Research industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging technologies relevant to the defence domain.
  • Initiate and manage strategic partnerships and collaborations to strengthen market presence.

B. Sales Management & Client Engagement

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet defined revenue goals.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals tailored to client-specific defence needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closure.
  • Understand client technical requirements and work closely with internal teams to provide customized solutions.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent lead follow-up and relationship building.

C. Marketing & Brand Positioning

  • Design and implement marketing campaigns to boost visibility in the defence sector.
  • Create and curate technical marketing collateral (brochures, case studies, whitepapers).
  • Coordinate participation in key industry expos, conferences, and defence-related events.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to communicate product strengths effectively.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives including social media, targeted campaigns, and website updates.

D. Tender & Proposal Management

  • Monitor and assess relevant tenders, RFPs, and government procurement announcements.
  • Prepare and submit technically compliant and commercially competitive bids.
  • Ensure all submissions adhere to procurement norms and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with legal and finance teams to ensure accurate documentation and contract readiness.

E. Client Relationship Management & Post-Sales Support

  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and manage high-value accounts.

  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to enhance products and services.
  • Support timely execution, installation, and troubleshooting as per client needs.

F. Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Deliver consistent reports on sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and market trends.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date revenue forecasts and achievement logs.
