About the Role

Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and acquire

    new business opportunities

    in IT services (SaaS, custom software development, cloud, AI/ML, digital transformation, etc.).
  • Develop and implement

    sales strategies

    to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain

    long-term relationships

    with decision-makers (CXOs, IT Heads, Procurement).
  • Conduct

    market research, competitor analysis, and account mapping

    to drive lead generation.
  • Manage the

    end-to-end sales cycle

    : lead generation → proposal → negotiation → closure.
  • Collaborate with

    technical and delivery teams

    to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
  • Represent the company at

    industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings

    .
  • Prepare

    sales forecasts, reports, and dashboards

    for management review.
  • Stay updated with

    industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer challenges

    .

Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven experience

    in Business Development / Sales in IT services, SaaS, or software solutions.
  • Strong track record of

    meeting or exceeding sales targets

    .
  • Excellent understanding of

    IT services, SaaS, cloud, or digital solutions market

    .
  • Strong

    negotiation, presentation, and communication skills

    .
  • Ability to engage and build rapport with

    CXO-level stakeholders

    .
  • Experience with

    CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho)

    and sales automation platforms.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a

    fast-paced, target-oriented environment

    .
  • Should know LinkedIn Sales Navigator, lead gen platforms and Upwork.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with

    international clients (US/Europe/Middle East)

    .
  • Knowledge of

    solution selling and consultative sales approaches.
