As a smart and results-driven Upwork Bidder / Online Business Developer at our Mohali, Punjab based company, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients on Upwork. Your primary focus will be on crafting persuasive proposals and nurturing relationships with potential leads. You will play a crucial role in bringing projects related to Ruby on Rails, React.js, AI/ML, SaaS products, and custom application development. Your key responsibilities will include identifying relevant jobs/projects on Upwork and other freelance platforms, writing customized, high-converting proposals that highlight Bluebash's strengths, and maintaining a high response and conversion rate. Regularly following up with potential leads, coordinating with the internal tech team to align proposals with service capabilities, and managing and updating CRM with bid status and client interactions will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will be required to research client needs and market trends to refine bid strategy. The ideal candidate for this position should have prior experience as an Upwork bidder or online business developer (1+ year preferred). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, a strong understanding of software development technologies and terminologies, and the ability to write tailored and compelling proposals are essential. Basic knowledge of platforms like Ruby on Rails, Python, React, Node.js, and AI tools would be a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools and bidding strategy, along with being self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently are highly valued qualities.
