Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Business Development Manager (BDM) with strong IT knowledge and proven experience in client handling, lead generation, and business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, understanding technical requirements, and working closely with internal teams to deliver customized IT solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify, generate, and qualify new business leads through multiple channels (Upwork, LinkedIn, referrals, cold outreach, etc.)
  • Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and RFP/RFI responses
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve revenue targets

Client Handling & Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients from onboarding to project closure
  • Understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
  • Maintain long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and upselling

Technical Understanding & Coordination

  • Strong understanding of IT services such as:
  • Web & Mobile App Development
  • E-commerce (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento)
  • UI/UX Design
  • SEO & Digital Marketing
  • Cloud, Hosting, and Maintenance services
  • Coordinate with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery
  • Assist in solution architecture discussions and effort estimation

Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies
  • Suggest improvements in service offerings and sales strategies
  • Track and report sales performance metrics regularly

Required Skills & QualificationsMandatory Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in IT Business Development / Sales / Client Acquisition
  • Strong understanding of IT services and technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in handling international clients
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into business solutions

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with freelancing platforms (Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and sales automation
  • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum processes
  • Experience working with startups or IT service companies
