About the Role

Business Development Manager (BDM)


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities with

    SMB and mid-enterprise customers

    for cybersecurity products and services.
  • Drive the

    end-to-end sales process

    — from prospecting, lead generation, and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with

    IT decision-makers, CISOs, and CXOs

    to understand their cybersecurity challenges and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the

    technical and pre-sales teams

    to design tailored solutions, proposals, and customer presentations.
  • Develop and execute

    territory-specific sales strategies and account plans

    to achieve revenue goals.
  • Manage the

    sales pipeline and forecasting

    accurately, ensuring consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain regular engagement and follow-ups with prospects to ensure a high conversion rate.
  • Stay informed about

    market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging cybersecurity technologies

  • Represent the company at

    industry events, webinars, and networking forums

    to promote brand visibility.
  • Coordinate with the

    delivery and implementation teams

    to ensure a smooth handover post-sales.
  • Maintain and update

    CRM systems

    with accurate data on leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Work closely with the

    marketing team

    on campaigns, lead-generation activities, and content development.
  • Provide timely

    sales reports, performance metrics, and insights

    to management.
  • Ensure

    customer satisfaction

    and foster long-term business relationships.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • 3–4 years of proven experience in

    cybersecurity or IT infrastructure sales

    .
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong

    communication, presentation, and negotiation

    skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Based in

    Mumbai

    , with willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
