BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN


Location: Remote/Bangalore, India

Duration: 6 months (Eligible for full-time conversion upon completion)

Commitment: Part-time or Full-time (Full-time availability preferred)

Compensation: ₹20,000 - ₹50,000/month (based on experience and performance)

Equity: Stock options available upon conversion to full-time role

Incentives: Performance-based bonuses for closed deals and business development milestones

THE ROLE


We're seeking an ambitious and driven Business Development Intern to join our growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an innovative AI startup and help shape the future of business intelligence. You'll work directly with leadership to drive growth, build partnerships, and bring our game-changing product to market.


Note: While we accept both part-time and full-time applicants, full-time availability is strongly preferred for maximum impact and learning.

WHAT YOU'LL DO


• Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and engage potential customers across target industries (CEOs, Finance, Marketing, Sales teams)


• Product Demos: Conduct compelling product demonstrations showcasing how Othor AI delivers insights in 30 seconds


• Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitor landscapes, and identify new business opportunities


• Partnership Development: Help build strategic partnerships and explore collaboration opportunities


• Customer Feedback: Gather insights from prospects and customers to inform product development


• Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain and nurture leads through the sales funnel using CRM tools


• Content & Messaging: Contribute to creating sales collateral, case studies, and outreach campaigns


• Networking: Represent Othor AI at virtual events, webinars, and industry meetups

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR


REQUIRED:


• Recent graduate or final-year student (MBA, BBA, B.Tech, or related fields)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset and hunger to learn

• Comfortable with technology and SaaS products

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships

• Goal-oriented with a results-driven approach

• Availability: Part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) or Full-time (40 hours/week) — Full-time strongly preferred


BONUS POINTS:


• Interest in AI, data analytics, or business intelligence

• Previous internship experience in sales, marketing, or business development

• Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

• Understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles

• Active on LinkedIn or other professional networks

In your first 6 months, you will:


• Generate qualified leads and schedule product demos

• Contribute to closing deals and growing our customer base

• Build a strong understanding of the BI market and customer pain points

• Develop professional skills in sales, negotiation, and stakeholder management

• Potentially transition into a full-time Business Development role
