About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Lead Generation:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities, target markets, and potential client segments.
  • Generate qualified leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, industry events, referrals, and

    direct field visits.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify strategic advantages.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to cross-promote SME Pulse for better ecosystem adoption.
  • Provide training and guidance to SMEs for smooth digital adoption and platform usage.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Actively engage in fieldwork to meet prospective clients face-to-face

    , understand their pain points, and present compelling solutions.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our [products/services] through tailored presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team revenue targets.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline, from lead qualification to deal closure.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Operations) to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Provide valuable feedback from the field to product and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
  • Reporting & Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights for management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adapt strategies as needed to meet goals.
  • Ensure onboarding success metrics are met, focusing on the percentage of SMEs successfully listed and actively using SME Junction.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    1-2 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role, preferably in the IT Industry.

    Comfortable and enthusiastic about traveling frequently within the designated territory to meet clients, conduct market visits, and attend events.
