About the role:

We seek an enthusiastic and motivated Sales and Marketing Intern to join our growing team. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and marketing functions, contribute to real-world projects, and develop essential professional skills within a supportive environment. You will work closely with our experienced sales and marketing professionals, learning the strategies and tactics that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support:

  • Assist the sales team in identifying and researching potential leads and new business opportunities.
  • Support in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and other client-facing documents.
  • Help maintain and update customer databases and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Assist with initial client outreach, including drafting emails and making introductory calls under supervision.
  • Shadow sales calls and meetings to gain insights into the sales process.
  • Marketing Support:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of various marketing campaigns (e.g., email marketing, social media, content marketing).
  • Assist in creating engaging marketing content, such as social media posts, blog outlines, website copy, or promotional materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and target audience insights.
  • Support in managing and updating company social media profiles and online presence.
  • Help organize and coordinate marketing events, webinars, or promotional activities.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on the performance of marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in content promotion by coordinating with the Senior Content Writer for snippets, news posts, and social campaigns.
  • Support WhatsApp and LinkedIn-based marketing campaigns to engage SMEs digitally.
  • Administrative & Learning:

  • Provide general administrative support to the sales and marketing teams.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and training programs.
  • Research and learn about industry best practices and new tools in sales and marketing.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc projects as assigned to support overall business objectives.
  • Conduct field research by visiting SME clusters to understand adoption barriers and collect feedback.

Who we are looking for:

  • Education:

    Recently graduated with a Bachelor&aposs degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and/or sales concepts (prior coursework or personal interest is a plus).
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms is a plus.
  • Open to work in the field if required.
  • Comfortable working in a target-oriented environment
