Role Overview

Business Development / Outside Sales Executive

This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of AV/technology solutions and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Reconnect with former clients, rebuild relationships, and generate repeat business.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries and regions.
  • Meet clients face-to-face to present AV solutions and proposals.
  • Work closely with inside sales, design, and estimation teams to develop tailored proposals.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain and update client interactions, opportunities and pipeline in the CRM.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and networking sessions.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on client requirements, market trends and competition.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Electronics/IT, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in

    outside sales, business development, or account management

    (preferably in AV/IT solutions or related technology sector).
  • Demonstrated success in re-engaging former clients and generating repeat business.
  • Strong industry network and established client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a results-driven approach.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings.


Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications

  • Experience in selling

    AV integration, IT infrastructure, or enterprise technology solutions

    .
  • Knowledge of AV systems, control platforms, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
