Project Manager – AV & Automation

Role Overview The Project Manager will oversee the seamless execution of AV & automation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction. This role involves planning resources, coordinating teams, managing materials, and maintaining clear communication with clients and vendors. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Resource Management Review project designs, timelines, and priorities. Plan and organize manpower, materials, and equipment for smooth execution. Design & Execution Coordination Understand and communicate project designs and specifications to the site team. Ensure execution matches approved designs; resolve on-site issues with design/consultant input. Material Procurement & Vendor Management Collaborate with Purchase team to procure materials timely and cost-effectively. Negotiate with vendors, track deliveries, and maintain records of material usage. Site Execution & Client Communication Assign tasks and monitor progress of site technicians. Provide regular updates to clients and management; address client grievances promptly. Ensure projects complete within budget and timelines. Quality Assurance & Inspection Conduct site visits to verify work quality and compliance with standards. Maintain daily progress records and ensure client sign-offs on deliverables. Commissioning & Service Coordination Guide commissioning activities and ensure systems function as per client requirements. Coordinate service calls, troubleshoot issues, and manage service team schedules. Team Leadership & Development Train, mentor, and evaluate site and service engineers. Foster a positive team environment and ensure SOP compliance. Qualifications 7+ years’ experience in AV, automation, or related project management roles. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and manage cross-functional teams effectively. Familiarity with project documentation and reporting tools is a plus. Show more Show less
