Job Description

Business Development Executive (BDE) – Experienced (Inside Sales & Lead Generation)
Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh (Nipania / Indore office)
Experience Required: 1-3 years (or more, depending on seniority) in B2B sales, lead generation, inside sales role.
Reporting To: Business Development Manager / Sales Head

Role Overview

As an experienced BDE at Visko Group, you will drive the growth of our business by focussing on inbound and outbound inside-sales activities, generating high-quality leads, qualifying prospects, nurturing them through the funnel, and supporting deal closures. You will work closely with the senior sales & marketing teams, leveraging CRM tools, market research, and digital outreach, to build a strong sales pipeline and convert leads into clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify new business leads through cold-calling, email outreach, LinkedIn or other social media channels, and other digital means.
  • Perform inside sales: reach out to leads, conduct introductory conversations, schedule product/service demos or meetings for senior sales staff.
  • Maintain and continuously update the sales pipeline in CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce) — track calls, meetings, proposals, conversions.
  • Achieve specified lead generation and qualification metrics (e.g., X leads/week, Y qualified meetings/month).
  • Support the preparation of proposals, sales presentations, and pitch decks tailored to client needs.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients (corporates, HR consultancies, job-portals or staffing depending on vertical) and nurture them through the sales funnel.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, market conditions so you can articulate and position Visko’s value proposition effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to design lead-gen campaigns, input into content or outreach strategy.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and inside-sales KPIs (lead volume, conversion ratio, pipeline value) as defined by management.
  • Provide regular reports on lead-gen performance, pipeline status, forecast, and issues to the manager.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any similar discipline (MBA or PG in Sales/Marketing is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years (or more for senior level) in business development, inside sales, or lead generation in a B2B environment. (Some postings at Visko mention 1-3 years in similar domain). SimplyHired+2SimplyHired+2
  • Proven track record of generating leads, following through, and converting leads into business opportunities.
  • Strong communication (written & oral), presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience in maintaining sales pipeline.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with teams.
  • Preferably: knowledge of the local market (Indore/MP region), digital outreach tools, and inside-sales best practices.

Inside-Sales & Lead Generation Specifics

  • You will be expected to generate a defined number of qualified leads per week/month (for example: 30 leads/week, 120 leads/month) — actual quota to be defined by management.
  • Maintain a conversion ratio from leads → meetings/demos → deals. For example, a target might be “20% of leads should convert to meetings” and “10% of meetings should convert to paying clients”.
  • Handle inside sales (remote/call/email) versus field sales — major focus is on outreach, lead qualification, scheduling, and handing over to closers.
  • Regular follow-ups, pipeline hygiene (ageing leads, drop-outs), and updating CRM details (source of lead, status, next action).
  • Meet weekly & monthly KPIs for calls made, e-mails sent, demos scheduled, proposals submitted, and deals progressed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
