About Codeflare Labs:


Codeflare Labs is a growing technology startup offering full-stack development, mobile app development, AI/ML solutions, automation, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and custom software systems. As we expand our presence in the local and regional market, we are looking for a Business Development Associate who can drive client acquisition, support revenue growth, and build long-term business relationships.


About the role


We are looking for a target-driven Business Development Associate who can identify potential clients, build relationships, and convert leads into business opportunities. This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident, tech-aware, strong in communication, comfortable handling both outreach and on-site client interactions and is passionate about startups and technology.



Key Responsibilities:


1. Client Acquisition & Sales Activities


Contact local businesses to introduce Codeflare Labs’ services. Conduct lead qualification through calls, messages, and emails. Schedule and conduct demos, client meetings and service presentations. Visit clients to understand requirements and offer consultation. 


Confidently present solutions, negotiate pricing and terms. Support the closure of new business deals and maintain strong follow-ups to ensure high conversion rates.


2. Lead Generation & Prospecting


Identify new business opportunities through LinkedIn outreach, Sales Navigator, cold calling, cold emailing, WhatsApp outreach, local business networks, IT communities, and freelance platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr etc.


Maintain and update a structured excel/CRM for potential clients. Track and monitor online marketplaces for relevant project postings and business opportunities.


3. Marketing & Digital Engagement Support


Assist in planning and executing outbound campaigns using email sequences, WhatsApp broadcasts, and LinkedIn messages. Help prepare proposals, quotations, and service presentations. Coordinate with the marketing team to support lead generation through ads, content campaigns, and other social media initiatives.


4. Communication & Client Relationship Management


Maintain clear and professional communication across calls, messages, and meetings in English, Hindi, and Bengali. Build long-term relationships for repeat business, provide after-sales support, resolve client queries, coordinate with the technical team for smooth project execution. Address client concerns promptly to ensure client satisfaction and help reduce client drop-off.


5. Reporting & Performance Tracking


Maintain daily logs of calls, outreach activity, client visits, and lead status updates. Track progress against monthly revenue targets. Submit weekly and monthly reports summarizing performance and pending targets.


Record and manage backlog targets for salary eligibility, and ensure consistent and accurate reporting of all sales-related activities.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Bengali.


Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.


Must have confidence in client meetings, negotiations, and target-driven work. Must have the ability to understand website, app, automation & software development services.


Preferred experience in B2B sales, cold calling, or IT sales and has hands-on experience with CRM systems, sales tools, LinkedIn outreach, and lead-generation tools.


Must be confident, disciplined, persuasive, target-oriented, and capable of maintaining strong follow-ups.

Candidates residing in Kolkata or nearby areas will be preferred and willing to travel locally for field visits and client meetings.


Compensation & Perks


CTC: Up to 2.5 LPA


Monthly salary (up to ₹20,000) is released only upon achieving monthly revenue targets.


Monthly revenue targets: ₹1.5 lakh to ₹2 lakh.


If target is not achieved then the monthly salary will be kept on hold. The candidate must complete their backlog target amount by the 5th of the following month. Continuous non-completion of backlogs may lead to performance review or termination as per company policy.


Incentive Policy: Additional incentives are awarded for revenue generated beyond the monthly target.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


Weekly generation of qualified leads and effective conversion of leads into clients through consistent follow-ups and deal closures.


Completion of required client visits each week to increase engagement and sales outcomes.


Achievement of monthly revenue targets through successful business conversions.


Maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and service quality.


Timely and consistent submission of all daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
