Business Analyst

Job description:

We are seeking a proactive and analytical business analyst with 4+ years of experience in the logistics or transportation domain, with strong expertise in CRM systems and Agile project environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, preparing detailed documentation (BRD, FRD), creating user stories, and supporting product development through Jira, Confluence, wireframes, flowcharts, and traceability matrices.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from logistics stakeholders such as operations, dispatch, fleet management, warehousing, and customer service teams.

Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) to align IT solutions with business goals.

Develop and maintain detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, and participate in backlog grooming sessions.

Create process flow diagrams, system interaction maps, and wireframes for features like load booking, tracking, POD, driver payments, CRM ticketing, etc.

Use a traceability matrix to track requirements across the lifecycle and ensure nothing is missed during delivery.

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies—sprint planning, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives.

Work closely with cross-functional teams—developers, QA, product owners, and SMEs—using Jira and Confluence for task tracking and documentation.

Support CRM integrations, help desk modules, and logistics dashboards by defining precise workflows and API-related requirements.

Assist in preparing UAT test cases, coordinating stakeholder reviews, and ensuring successful feature rollouts.

Required Skills & Experience:

4+ years of Business Analyst experience, with at least 2 years in the logistics, supply chain, or transport sector.

Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and customer support ticketing systems (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce, Freshdesk).

Strong documentation skills in BRD, FRD, wireframes, and process flow diagrams.

Proficient in Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, and wireframing tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma).

Good understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and ability to manage sprint-level requirements.

Experience in creating and maintaining traceability matrices.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications: Domain knowledge of freight movement, trip creation, driver assignments, POD, invoicing, and settlement flows.

Familiarity with logistics ERP or TMS systems. Agile certification (e.g., CSM, CSPO) or logistics certifications are a plus.
