Structured as a matrix organization of six geographical regions and ten platforms, Louis Dreyfus Company is active in over 100 countries and employs approximately 18,000 people globally.We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to implement and enhance commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) front-office applications in ASIA region, analyze existing processes and enhancement requirements, document gaps and existing functionalities, work with a global implementation project team to facilitate implementations with minimal business impact.
- Ensure that the system implemented meets business requirements; that users are trained and use the system correctly; and that support is delivered in a pro-active and efficient manner.
- You will work as part of the Regional Project Team, interacting closely with the Regional Project Manager, other Business Analysts, and Global IT teams.
- Collaborating with trading, execution, finance operations to identify, develop, and implement best practices and leading core business processes in order to drive business transformation. This includes activities such as training and communication, developments specifications, process mapping and workflow.
Business Analysis
- Understanding and documenting current business processes.
- Conducting gap analysis between the as-is and to-be processes, identifying gaps with existing system functionalities, reports and controls.
- Running workshops to identify current and best-practice procedures.
- Running training workshops with key stakeholders and end users.
- Understand system functionalities and be able to recommend solutions and improvements.
- Document requirement and functional specifications and work closely with the Business, Regional and Global IT teams and vendors to facilitate developments.
Application Support
- Responsible for level I and II Application support (recreate issues, test scenarios, manage short term and long-term resolutions).
- Ensure Business incidents and requests are tracked in Service Now and the tickets are resolved within Service Level Agreement.
- Report on Monthly incident and requests.
- Act as first line support to the Business in case of issues during project and post go-live support.
- Help to develop and manage key stakeholder relationships.
- Manage after hours deployment of solutions to Production environment.
Project Management
- Support the Project Manager throughout projects (e.g. defining scope, estimating resource requirements, timelines).
- Contribute to regular project and business meetings, provide progress updates, report issues and risks.
Experience
- Degree in Information Technology or related discipline with exposure to Commodity Trading or ERP or Supply Chain
Additional Information
- 3 or more years work experience as Business Analyst or Application Support Analyst.
- Experience in implementing commodity trading & risk management (CTRM) or ERP or supply chain/logistics applications is a must.
- Experience in implementing or working with commodity trading & risk management (CTRM) systems is preferred.
- Good accounting knowledge would be an advantage.
- Business Analysis Certification a strong advantage.
- Understanding of Project Management methodology and best practices.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills in Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, reactive, and challenging trading environments.
- Ability to own a task and deliver to required timelines.
- Ability to anticipate issues and suggest resolutions.
- Ability to manage own time, workload, own tasks, deliver to required timelines, anticipate issues and suggest resolutions.
