Brand Specialist
Location: Ahmedabad (Head Office)
Department: Marketing
Reporting to: Brand Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate Brand Specialist to strengthen our brand presence across India through community initiatives, vendor collaborations, creative storytelling, and awareness-driven campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, relationship builder, and enthusiastic about the pet-care industry, ensuring JUSTDOGS is the most loved brand for pet parents.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Positioning
* Support the Brand Manager in defining and executing brand positioning and messaging frameworks.
* Research market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform brand direction.
* Ensure all campaigns align with the brand’s identity, values, and long-term vision.
2. Brand Awareness & Community Engagement
* Organise pet events, adoption drives, and workshops to build community engagement.
* Partner with veterinarians, influencers, and pet communities to strengthen brand advocacy.
* Ensure consistent brand storytelling across online and offline channels.
3. Vendor Collaborations & Partnerships
* Collaborate with pet food and accessory vendors for joint marketing initiatives.
* Secure vendor sponsorships for in-store activations and large-scale events.
* Develop influencer and partnership-driven campaigns.
4. Content, PR & Creative Oversight
* Oversee content creation, packaging, and visual merchandising to maintain brand identity.
* Collaborate with agencies on PR campaigns and media outreach for visibility.
* Guide design and content teams in creating engaging brand assets (videos, creatives, blogs).
5. Customer Engagement & Loyalty
* Develop brand loyalty programs, referral campaigns, and customer engagement activities.
* Leverage customer feedback and UGC to enhance the brand experience.
6. Internal Brand Custodianship
* Conduct brand training for internal teams and store staff.
* Act as a brand guardian, ensuring guidelines are followed across all touchpoints.
Skills & Competencies:
* Strong vendor relationship management and collaboration skills.
* Creative thinker with expertise in brand storytelling and content creation.
* Experience in event management, PR, and community-driven initiatives.
* Proficiency in Google Analytics, Canva, and email marketing tools.
* Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.).
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
* 2–4 years of experience in branding, partnerships, or retail marketing.
* Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
* Passion for pets and the pet-care industry is highly preferred.
