Job Description – Back Office Manager (Operations & Coordination) Industry: Solar Energy / Renewable Energy Location: Jaipur Department: Operations / Back Office Reports to: Operations Head / Director Role Overview:The Back Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all back-office operations, ensuring smooth coordination between sales, procurement, installation, service, and finance teams. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to streamline processes for efficient operations in a solar company environment. Key Responsibilities:Operations & Coordination Coordinate with sales, procurement, engineering, and installation teams for project execution. Monitor project progress, documentation, and timely reporting to management. Maintain communication between field teams, vendors, and internal departments. Track and update project schedules, purchase orders, and delivery timelines. Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and statutory regulations. Back Office Management Manage documentation, data entry, project files, and MIS reporting. Oversee preparation of quotations, agreements, invoices, and work orders. Handle government portals for solar subsidy, net metering, and approvals. Support HR in attendance records, staff coordination, and training schedules. Maintain vendor and client databases. Finance & Reporting Coordinate with accounts for billing, payment follow-up, and vendor settlements. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on operational performance. Assist in budgeting and cost control by tracking expenses and purchase orders. Team & Process Management Supervise back-office executives and assign tasks. Develop systems for process improvement and operational efficiency. Conduct periodic reviews of team performance and ensure timely task completion. Required Qualifications & Skills:Graduate/Post Graduate (Commerce/Management/Engineering preferred). 4–7 years of experience in operations/back-office management, preferably in Solar/Energy/Construction sector. Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/CRM tools. Good communication and coordination skills. Knowledge of solar project lifecycle, subsidy processes, and net-metering will be an advantage. Strong organizational and multitasking ability. Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
