We are seeking a talented individual to join our HR Digital Transformation team at Mercer. This role will be based in Bangalore/Noida/GGN/Pune/Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

- Lead the Workday support team
- Proven experience in managing complex projects involving Workday implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Manage workload for the AMS team, assist in all the phases of Phase X/ Optimization /SOW delivery lifecycle, collate and report status / impediments with the project team across functional areas
- Coordinate with the EM/PM/CSM and Client for project delivery
- Multi-task and engage on multiple projects & internal initiatives
- Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions
- Manage client relationships
We will count on you to:
- Experience in handling issues, configuring, and customizing Workday HCM modules to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Deliver solutions for in scope HCM, Onboarding, or Benefits, Data Conversion, Reporting, BIRT, Dashboards for implementation
- Identify scope, scope gaps & get them addressed
- Communicate & collaborate with project internal / external stakeholders for project success & plan inputs
- Lead and mentor a team of functional consultants, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
- Gather and document requirements, assess complexity and level of effort estimates, prioritizes capacity, and defines development and analysis timelines
- Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide key support in Workday feature releases, security, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Being flexible to work in multiple time zones, multiple teams
- Drive Ops excellence culture and lead transformational project(s) with clear visible and measurable impact
- Responsible for driving initiatives and ensuring results with a confined focus on timelines and quality
What you need to have:
- Should be Workday Certified in any of these – HCM, Adv. Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Talent & Performance, Time Tracking, Learning, Reporting, PRISM
- Total 12+years of experience (7years in WD)
- BE /B.Tech /MCA /BSc.Extensive experience working with clients as a “Consultant” to drive implementation projects
- Lead the Workday Support Team, ensuring day-to-day system support through Incident and HR Case Management.
- Continuous monitoring of support service adherence to SLAs and any necessary action to enable refinement and further adherence.
- Detailed analysis of incidents for themes relating to technical issues or end user training requirements with the appropriate action taken as a subsequent step.
- Continuous maintenance of Knowledge Base articles to provide robust reference materials for increased efficiency within support.
- Continuous review and refinement of support processes (Incidents & HR Cases)
- Fully document and ensure annual Workday support maintenance activities are well executed on time.
- Representing support in knowledge transfer sessions from Projects and BAU change delivery to ensure robust service transition and required support knowledge articles.
- Support the resolution of multiple ticket types including Incidents, Service Requests and Enhancements (Support process may include trouble shooting/root-cause identification, solution planning / ideation, and collaborate with change delivery on configuration as is relevant)
- Partner across team relating to bi-annual Workday releases, understanding the changes and impact on support services.
- Escalation management relating to Incidents & HR Cases
- Production Support – Includes the practices and disciplines of supporting the Workday solution
- Take timely, appropriate action to address stakeholder needs/expectations
- Identify and manage issue resolution including escalation as needed
- Interact and communicate effectively with mid and senior level management
- Works with senior level management for understanding the future priorities and plans
- Develop & manage communication plans with stakeholders aimed at improved collaboration
- Leverage synergies between global information systems
