Job Summary
Data Analyst:We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to oversee the entire analytics lifecycle—from gathering requirements to delivering actionable insights—while collaborating closely with stakeholders and ensuring quality execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, effective communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.The ideal candidate will blend technical prowess with strategic vision and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, define KPIs, and translate them into analytics requirements and BI roadmap
- Conduct discovery sessions, interviews, or workshops to elicit needs and align priorities
- Proven experience working with BI Tools (strong background with similar BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc., but Bold BI preferred ).
- Design robust ETL processes and oversee data modelling techniques like star schemas for performance and scalability.
- Strong experience connecting to and working with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and REST APIs.
- Python programming skills for developing custom visualizations and data processing tasks.
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, performance, and governance across dashboards; optimize models and queries for efficiency
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices (chart selection, UX/UI design for dashboards).
- Support deployment strategies, including tenant and workspace administration, capacity planning, gateways, and licensing alignment
- Establish and refine BI delivery processes, documentation, change control, and user training practices.
- Keep abreast of emerging BI trends and tools (like Data Fabric, GenAI, automation with Power Automate, etc.), and introduce innovations strategically
Optional Enhancements
- Industry-specific Expertise: Familiarity with domains like finance, HR systems, or supply chain analytics
- Knowledge of ReactJS, JavaScript or HTML/CSS for enhanced custom visualizations.
- Understanding of data security best practices when building BI tools.
- Experience wit h Agile/Scrum methodologies.
