What you'll do:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance with strong leadership and analytical skills to oversee the Accounts Payable and Vendor Management function.

The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all payables and reconciliation processes across Q-commerce / E-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of Finance Executives handling end-to-end accounts payable, vendor queries, and reconciliations.
• Review team deliverables to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
• Oversee invoice validation, 3-way matching (PO ↔ GRN ↔ Invoice), and payment processing.
• Ensure vendor accounts are reconciled and payments are released on schedule.
• Review and improve AP processes to minimize discrepancies. Handle escalated vendor queries and disputes, ensuring effective resolution.
• Support vendor onboarding and compliance with company policies.
• Strengthen relationships with key suppliers to ensure business continuity.
• Identify gaps in processes and implement automation or control improvements.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Operations, and Tech teams for smooth data flow and reconciliations.
• Ensure alignment between finance operations and business goals.
• Prepare MIS, AP ageing, vendor performance reports, and monthly dashboards.
• Support month-end close activities and provide insights for management decisions.

What you'll need:

• Chartered Accountant with at least 3 years of Experience
• CA Inter Completed with 5 plus years of Experience.
• Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting.
• Prior experience in Q-commerce / E-commerce companies preferred.
• Strong understanding of 3-Way Matching (PO ↔ GRN ↔ Invoice) and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Netsuite, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, and strong communication & analytical skills. (SQL will be an added advantage)
