Job Description

Assistant Manager – Business Finance

What You’ll Be Doing:

Prepare, update, and implement annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets
Conduct Budget vs Actual reporting with variance analysis and insights
Collaborate with business units to align budgets and annual operating plans with KPIs
Prepare monthly/quarterly MIS reports with business performance summaries
Plan and manage working capital to support business needs and growth
Review business processes, introduce automation, and financial controls for better efficiency
Analyze and make recommendations on accounting, tax, and IFRS updates
Support special assignments such as due diligence, internal controls assessments, and securities listings
Review contracts, financial commitments, and transactions to ensure alignment with company policies

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Professional qualifications like CPA/CA/CMA are a plus)
Post qualification 1-3 years of experience in finance roles with strong exposure to budgeting, MIS reporting, and process improvement
Strong understanding of IFRS, financial regulations, and working capital optimization
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial tools/ERP systems
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
A proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes
