Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant HR Manager to support end-to-end HR operations, recruitment, payroll coordination, compliance, performance management, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate should have strong HR operational knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and a people-first approach.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment for technical, academic, and non-technical roles
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements
  • Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and manage offer processes
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring reports

2. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage employee onboarding, induction, and documentation
  • Ensure smooth joining formalities and HR orientation
  • Maintain employee records (HRMS, files, contracts, letters)
  • Handle confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exit processes

3. Payroll & Compliance Support

  • Assist in monthly payroll coordination and validation
  • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, Labour Laws, Gratuity)
  • Support audits and statutory inspections
  • Coordinate with finance teams and external vendors

4. Performance Management & Training

  • Support performance appraisal cycles and KPI tracking
  • Assist in training need analysis and training coordination
  • Maintain training records and feedback reports

5. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Address employee queries and grievances professionally
  • Support employee engagement activities, events, and celebrations
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee satisfaction
  • Assist in disciplinary processes as per company policy

6. HR Policies & MIS Reporting

  • Implement HR policies and procedures
  • Prepare HR MIS reports (attendance, attrition, hiring, leave, payroll)
  • Support HR analytics and management reporting

2. Employee Onboarding & HR Operations (20%)

  • Smooth onboarding and induction
  • Employee data management and documentation
  • HR lifecycle management

  • Onboarding completion rate (%) within joining week
  • Accuracy of employee records (%)
  • Turnaround time for HR letters (offer, confirmation, exit)
  • HRMS data updation compliance (%)

3. Payroll & Statutory Compliance (20%)

KRAs

  • Payroll coordination and validation
  • Statutory compliance support
  • Audit readiness

KPIs

  • Payroll accuracy (%)
  • Timely salary disbursement (Yes/No)
  • Compliance filing adherence (%) – PF, ESI, PT
  • Number of audit observations/compliance gaps
  • Statutory error rate (%)

4. Performance Management & Training (15%)

KRAs

  • Appraisal cycle support
  • Training coordination
  • Skill development initiatives

KPIs

  • Appraisal completion rate (%) within timeline
  • Training programs coordinated vs planned
  • Training feedback score (average rating)
  • Post-training performance improvement (%)

5. Employee Engagement & Relations (10%)

KRAs

  • Employee engagement initiatives
  • Grievance handling
  • Workplace culture enhancement

KPIs

  • Grievance resolution TAT
  • Engagement activities conducted (count)
  • Employee satisfaction score
  • Absenteeism rate (%)
  • Voluntary attrition rate (%)

6. HR MIS, Policies & Reporting (10%)

  • HR MIS reporting and analytics
  • Policy implementation and communication
  • HR process improvements

KPIs

  • Accuracy of HR MIS reports (%)
  • Timely submission of HR reports (%)
  • HR process improvements implemented (count)
  • Policy compliance score (%)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
