Salary range: Rs 420000 - Rs 600000 (ie INR 4.2-6 LPA)

Min Experience: 3 yearsLocation: MumbaiJobType: full-timeThe Assistant HR Manager will support end-to-end human resources operations across multiple locations. This role plays a key part in managing people processes including recruitment, payroll coordination, employee engagement, performance management, and HR compliance, while helping foster a positive and compliant workplace culture aligned with organisational objectives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
  • Support induction programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Coordinate exit formalities and maintain accurate employee lifecycle records.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle attendance tracking, leave management, and support salary and payroll coordination.
  • Address employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and labour laws.
  • Support implementation of HR best practices and internal guidelines.

Performance Management & Engagement

  • Assist in performance management cycles, appraisals, and documentation.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communication, and workplace programs.
  • Coordinate training and development activities as required.

Experience & Skills

  • Experience: 3-5+ years in HR operations or a similar role
  • Core Skills: Recruitment, Payroll Coordination, HR Operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent organisational and time-management capabilities
