Job Description: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About The Role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with 7-10 years of experience to lead the financial strategy, planning, and operations of the company. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and strengthen relationships with financial institutions.
  • This role requires a strong background in finance, leadership, and business acumen to support the company's growth and long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities (KRA)

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, MIS, and management reports.
  • Lead statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance activities.
  • Manage risk assessment, financial controls, and corporate governance standards.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate laws, and financial reporting standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency in financial operations.

Required Skillsets

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or related functions.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, taxation, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting standards, audits, and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities to engage with stakeholders and board members.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP systems, financial modeling, and MS Excel.
  • CPA, CA, or MBA in Finance preferred but not mandatory.
