Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Accountant to manage daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial AccountingPrepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts Perform month-end and year-end closing activities Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) Review and process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments Record journal entries and ensure proper documentation Reporting & AnalysisAssist in preparing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Provide timely financial insights to management Prepare internal and external audit schedules Compliance & ControlsEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Maintain organized documentation for audits and tax purposes Support external auditors and respond to audit requests Maintain strong internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data Cross-Functional SupportCollaborate with Operations, HR, Finance, and Procurement teams Support system upgrades, automation, and process improvement initiatives Respond to internal financial inquiries and provide guidance as needed Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1–3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Preferred QualificationsCPA or progress toward CPA (a plus but not required) Experience in corporate, public accounting, or industry-specific environments Knowledge of tax regulations and audit preparation Familiarity with ERP systems Key CompetenciesAnalytical and problem-solving skills Integrity and confidentiality Strong communication (written & verbal) Time management and ability to meet deadlines Accuracy and consistency in financial reporting What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package Professional development and training Career growth opportunities Collaborative and supportive work environment
