Job Description: Were seeking a Senior Hydraulic Design Engineer to lead hydraulic design and modeling for a variety of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role spans concept development through to detailed design, working alongside cross-disciplinary teams, and liaising with clients and contractors to deliver technically robust, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage full lifecycle design for water and wastewater infrastructure and storm water—including water distribution systems, wastewater collection, treatment plants, stormwater systems, and flood control infrastructure. Perform hydraulic modeling, surge analysis, and system simulations using tools such as Info Water, Info Sewer, Water Gems, Sewer Gems, HEC-RAS, EPANET, SWMM,, etc. Prepare design deliverables including concept and detailed designs, engineering calculations, design reports, technical specifications, tender documentation, and bills of quantities. Conduct site and field investigations to collect data, assess existing infrastructure, and support design decisions. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, structural, process, environmental) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Engage directly with clients and stakeholders—participating in meetings, managing expectations, and communicating design intent effectively. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solar and Wind Energy Engineer and also have knowledge in converting renewable energy from sugar factory waste etc. to join our Renewable Energy Division within the Civil & Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of solar and wind energy systems and also the renewable energy plant from factory waste. This role involves cross-disciplinary collaboration, including site evaluation, system modeling, infrastructure coordination, and technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed site assessments and analyze meteorological and solar irradiance data to evaluate project feasibility. Design and optimize solar PV and wind energy systems, including component selection and layout. Design of renewable energy plant from the sugar factory waste etc. Develop energy yield assessments and system performance models using industry-standard tools. Supervise system installation and commissioning to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety protocols. Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and financial analyses for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in securing environmental permits and managing grid interconnection processes. Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and environmental teams to ensure successful project delivery. Studying and proposing suitable techno commercial models to the end users. Remain current with industry advancements, renewable energy policies, and applicable codes and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronic/Mechanical Engineering , or a related field (Masters degree is an asset). Minimum 3 years of experience in solar and/or wind energy engineering; experience with both is highly preferred. Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, WindPRO , and GIS software ; familiarity with civil modeling tools is a plus. Solid understanding of electrical systems , power electronics , and grid integration principles . Basic knowledge of civil requirements for renewable installations (e.g., foundations, mounting systems, access roads). Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Coordination with the local/District level MSEDCL authorities concern ULBs for completing required formalities of MSEDCL.
