Job Description: Were seeking a Senior Hydraulic Design Engineer to lead hydraulic design and modeling for a variety of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role spans concept development through to detailed design, working alongside cross-disciplinary teams, and liaising with clients and contractors to deliver technically robust, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage full lifecycle design for water and wastewater infrastructure and storm water—including water distribution systems, wastewater collection, treatment plants, stormwater systems, and flood control infrastructure. Perform hydraulic modeling, surge analysis, and system simulations using tools such as Info Water, Info Sewer, Water Gems, Sewer Gems, HEC-RAS, EPANET, SWMM,, etc. Prepare design deliverables including concept and detailed designs, engineering calculations, design reports, technical specifications, tender documentation, and bills of quantities. Conduct site and field investigations to collect data, assess existing infrastructure, and support design decisions. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, structural, process, environmental) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Engage directly with clients and stakeholders—participating in meetings, managing expectations, and communicating design intent effectively. Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and quality reviews. Oversee project timelines and budgets, prepare cost/time estimates, and support bid/proposal development. Ensure compliance with local and international standards and regulations, implementing best practices in design and safety. Drive innovation and continuous improvement via digital engineering techniques and efficient workflows. Promote health, safety, and environmental standards within project execution. Qualifications: Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Hydraulic, or Environmental Engineering. A Master's is advantageous. Professional Credential : Chartered, PE, or equivalent professional engineering accreditation (e.g., ICE, CIWEM, ECSA). Experience : At least 8–10 years of hands-on work in hydraulic design and modeling of water/wastewater infrastructure. Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects across all stages—from feasibility to construction Proficiency in hydraulic and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Bentley platforms, HEC-RAS Strong analytical, technical writing, and verbal communication skills.
