What You’ll Do

As an Accountant, you will handle the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, support financial reporting, ensure tax compliance, and support audits, banking, and export-related documentation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Tally ERP, Soham (Pharma ERP Software), and a solid understanding of accounting principles and statutory requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day accounting transactions in Soham(Pharma ERP Software) and Tally ERP.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments for financial clarity.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with tax laws (GST, TDS, and Income Tax), and coordinate audits.
• Handle tax filings, liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities, and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and support decision-making with data-driven insights.
• Manage financial transactions with vendors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

What Makes You a Fit

Academic Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.Com).

Skills and Experience:

• 3-6 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
• Expertise in Tally ERP and Soham (Pharma ERP Software-added advantage) for financial transactions and bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of corporate banking.
• Proficiency in GST return filing, TDS deduction, and overall taxation compliance.
• Knowledge of loan, overdraft (OD), and cash credit (CC) management, EPC, and other Bank finance products.
• Experience in handling Multi Trade Transactions, ensuring seamless financial operations across multiple trade channels.
• Experience in balance sheet preparation and completing yearly audits.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and ability to handle emails and communication apps (WhatsApp, etc.). 
• Experience in export or foreign currency accounting will be an added advantage.
