Job Description

• Maintain day-to-day transaction reports and keep all billing records updated on a daily basis. • Manage payment processing and payment recovery follow-ups to ensure timely settlements. • Coordinate with the Purchase team for making payments and for material procurement activities. • Communicate and negotiate with vendors to finalize payment terms and ensure smooth transactions. • Document and record all financial transactions accurately and timely. • Monitor the efficiency and compliance of existing accounting procedures with relevant government regulations. • Review financial documents to identify and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities. • Reconcile reports, statements, and various financial transactions to maintain accuracy. • Create, review, and present budgets for management review. • Recommend appropriate financial actions by analyzing accounting data and options. • Coordinate with auditors in the preparation of audit reports and ensure timely completion. • Provide guidance on revenue enhancement, cost control, and profit maximization strategies. • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including cash flow, balance sheet, and profit & loss statements. • Ensure accurate and timely submission of annual tax returns in compliance with statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Cost Analysis: Analyze manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, to provide insights into production efficiency and profitability. Prepare reports on gross margins and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsible for producing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that accurately reflect the company’s financial position. • Inventory Management: Track inventory levels, manage stock valuation, and ensure accurate reporting of inventory costs. Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to optimize inventory turnover and minimize holding costs. • Month-End Closing: Support the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time. Perform account reconciliations and prepare necessary journal entries. • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with production, purchasing, and sales teams to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions and drive operational improvements. jay this all are the job responsibilities you can put in the description of accountant job
