WHAT WILL YOU DO AT WHOLSUM FOODS?

  • Collaborating with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Analyzing and evaluating existing strategies, policies, and procedures, and reforming them with the help of executives and staff.
  • Creating new training and development programs.
  • Contributing to a healthy corporate culture that supports growth and equal opportunity
  • Keeping abreast of government regulations and public policies and accordingly amending company policies. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, mitigating HR-related risks for the organization.
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies that support the company's vision, values, and long-term objectives.
  • Overseeing talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention efforts to attract and develop a diverse and high-performing workforce.
  • Leading performance management and talent development initiatives, providing coaching and support to managers and employees.
  • Designing and executing employee engagement programs, ensuring a positive work environment and a strong company culture.
  • Overseeing compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Leading HR analytics and reporting, providing insights to guide decision-making and improve HR processes.
  • Work with functional HR teams to drive HR operational excellence, adopt data-driven decision making and implement best practices. Providing guidance and support to HR team members and managers.
  • Act as an advocate of the company’s values and culture to create a best-in-class work environment.
  • Manage the Human Resources budget.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 12-20 years of progressive HR experience. Preference to candidates who have done consulting and strategy roles (Chief of Staff)
  • Proven track record of scaling up in a startup environment.
  • Strong proficiency in HR systems automation and process development.
  • Should possess the gravitas and personality of a senior stakeholder.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Experience in strategic planning, in-depth knowledge of all HR functions and good understanding of labor legislation.
  • Excellent leadership abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making with data-driven insights.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
