The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of solar technologies, project economics, and market dynamics, combined with the ability to drive project sales from initiation to closure. This role requires expertise in managing high value clients, and ensuring seamless coordination between technical and commercial teams to deliver end-to-end solutions for large-scale solar projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
ï· Evaluate and explain technical requirements, including designs, layouts, and component specifications (modules, inverters, trackers, etc.).ï· Provide technical insights during proposal development, including system design optimization for maximum energy output and cost efficiency.ï· Collaborate with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) teams to address client requirements and resolve technical challenges.ï· Lead the preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantities) proposals, bids, and tender documents, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.ï· Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersï· Prepare comprehensive financial models, including ROI, IRR, and payback period analysis, tailored to client requirements. Manage project cost analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting.ï· Support in negotiating large-scale project contracts, including EPC agreements, O&M (Operations and Maintenance) contracts, and supply chain agreements.ï· Ensure the project's financial viability by managing cost optimization and risk assessment.ï· Monitor regulatory and policy developments in the renewable energy sector to leverage opportunities and mitigate risks.ï· Act as the primary interface between technical, financial, and operational teams throughout the project lifecycle and resolve project-related issues, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.ï· Ensure compliance with local and international standards, including grid codes, land use regulations, and environmental requirements.ï· Prepare detailed project updates, forecasts, and performance reports for senior management and stakeholders.Requirement
Strong understanding of solar PV technologies, trackers, inverters, and BOS (Balance of System) components. Proficiency in simulation tools like Auto cad, PVsyst, Helioscope.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.Ability to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office, SAP & CRM platforms, and financial analysis tools.Willingness to travel frequently to project sites, client meetings, and conferences.
