About the Role

Test Manager

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement test strategies, frameworks, and processes across projects.
Manage the entire testing lifecycle – from requirement analysis, test planning, execution, defect tracking, to closure.
Lead and mentor a team of QA/Test Engineers, ensuring best practices are followed.
Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, and developers to align on test objectives.
Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
Ensure traceability of requirements to test cases, maintaining test coverage and compliance.
Prepare and present test reports, dashboards, and metrics to stakeholders.
Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and provide proactive solutions.

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in Software Testing, with at least 3+ years in a Test Manager/Lead role.
Strong knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, qTest).
Hands-on experience in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, Cypress, Playwright).
Expertise in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD testing practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Good-to-Have

ISTQB Test Manager or equivalent certification.
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Familiarity with cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Exposure to security testing practices.
