Role Overview

General Manager – Tender

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end tendering for solar ground-mount and rooftop projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, and BOQs to prepare techno-commercial offers.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and pricing strategies for EPC and fabrication works.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams for cost inputs and compliance.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and manage clarifications and documentation.
• Maintain a database of vendor rates, project costs, and tender outcomes.
• Lead and mentor the tendering team to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E./ B. Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or project costing for:
• Solar EPC (Ground Mount & Rooftop)
• Structural fabrication or renewable energy projects
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), and ERP-based costing tools.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
