Role & responsibilities Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities Study and analyze government tender documents (EPC/Turnkey projects Water Supply, Sewerage, Irrigation, Power, etc.). Review eligibility criteria, BOQs, specifications, drawings, and contractual terms. Prepare detailed cost estimates and rate analysis in line with CPHEEO, CPWD, UPJN, RUIDP, or other state SORs. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams for gathering project inputs and quotations from vendors/sub-contractors. Prepare pre-bid queries, clarifications, and participate in pre-bid meetings. Ensure timely submission of technical and financial bids on e-procurement portals. Evaluate addendums, corrigenda, and tender modifications. Maintain tender records, track results, and prepare comparison sheets. Liaise with clients, consultants, and government departments during bidding and post-tender clarifications. Support management in pricing strategy, risk analysis, and contract negotiation. Preferred Candidate Profile Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (MBA/PGDM in Project Management or Finance will be an added advantage). Experience: 4–10 years in government tendering / EPC project bidding. Industry Exposure: Water supply projects, Sewerage, STPs, Pumping Stations, Irrigation, Electrical & Mechanical works. Technical Skills: Excellent command of e-tendering portals (GeM, CPPP, e-proc portals of various departments). Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and tender documentation. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, AutoCAD (basic), and cost estimation tools. Behavioral Skills: Strong analytical and coordination skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tenders simultaneously. Excellent communication and drafting ability. Preferred candidate profile
